Controlling and monitoring the electro fusion welding process

The EFS App allows the user to control and monitor the Electro Fusion welding control unit. The application provides step by step guides to minimize sources of error and achieve cleaner welding results. To support various standards, user profiles and welding configurations can be set up on the website.

The welding process within the app includes steps such as: capturing and validating barcodes, visual welding documentation by taking photos, location and environment tracking as well as live monitoring of the welding process. Furthermore, the app synchronizes the collected data to the server where it is further processed.

The data communication between the mobile device and the welding controller is done using Bluetooth Low Energy.
